Hi, I’m Aaron. I’m a data scientist who works at the intersection of data, decision-making, and real people trying to do their jobs better. I’ve spent the last several years building analytical and machine-learning systems that help teams ask clearer questions, trust their numbers, and make fewer bad decisions.

I’m most interested in applied work: messy data, imperfect signals, and the gap between what a model says and what actually happens in the world. I like thinking about causality, incentives, systems, and how tools shape behavior, not just metrics on a dashboard. My background spans consulting, audio production, product marketing, and e-commerce operations, which has made me practical, skeptical, and allergic to hype.

This blog is where I write to think. Sometimes it’s about data science, sometimes about technology, maybe even a book review. The goal is clarity, not cleverness, building things that actually hold up outside a slide deck.
